Flash Player 11.2  and AIR 3.2 SDK final versions are now available for download at the official release pages.

There are lot of new significant features like mouseLock, middle click, right click, silent auto-update and Stage3D on mobile.

Due to Labor Day, September’s meeting will be pushed back by one week to September 12th.

In this session, Doug Winnie, Web Community Manager from Adobe Systems, will give an early run-through of his MAX lab for everyone to follow along with. Doug will walkthrough how to create a mutli-device project using Flash Professional CS5.5 and ActionScript 3.0. Bring your laptops and your development devices to follow along!

Doug Winnie is a Web Community Manager at Adobe Systems where he works with the developer and interactive design communities to help their workflow and efficiency when working with the Flash Platform and HTML5. Doug formerly was Principal Product Manager for Adobe Edge, Adobe Flash Catalyst and Creative Suite Web Premium. Doug tweets as @sfdesigner on twitter, blogs at sfdesignerdw.wordpress.com and lives in San Francisco, CA.

Narciso Jaramillo (nj) has a great tutorial on building an app that gets the latest trending topics from Twitter and lets you see the tweets for each topic as well as who posted each tweet.

FlashCamp this Saturday in SF!

Flash CampOn Saturday, April 30th in San Francisco, there will be free, all day Flash Camp focusing on Flex 4.5 and mobile development. This is an excellent opportunity to get introduced to the framework or get acquainted with the mobile side of Flex. Both iOS and Playbook development will be covered.
